This year marks the 10^th anniversary of the GB Gentle Bear program. Since 2007 more than 10,000 bears have been distributed worldwide.

10 years ago GB launched its now well publicised Gentle Bears trauma teddies program.

Gentle Bear came in to existence through collaboration between GB and the South Australia Police Department, as a way to minimise Post Traumatic Stress-related injuries.

We implemented a number of stress reduction initiatives, including the sponsoring of teddy bears that could be carried in police and other emergency vehicles and handed out to young children involved in traumatic events such as serious road traffic accidents and domestic violence.
