Gallagher Bassett (GB) is proud to announce its appointment to provide self insurance claims management services for public sector employees on behalf of the Northern Territory Government.
GB will provide self insurance claims management and return to work services to all Territory government staff.
The operation will be led by GB’s self insurance team, including Executive Director – Self Insurance, Stacey Williams; National Manager – Self Insurance, Ben Sheat; and Transition Manager, Emma Hosking.
GB was appointed following a public competitive tendering process.
GB’s Managing Director – Australia, John McNamara, is excited about the opportunities for local investment GB’s expansion in the Territory will create.
“We see this as a great opportunity to grow our business by investing in the Territory” John said.
“GB will be establishing panels to maximise procurement amongst local service providers, as well as investing in local recruitment and training programs, including the expansion of our award winning cadetship program to the Territory”.
GB will establish offices in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine to support the delivery of services and has begun holding information sessions to attract high-quality local job candidates.
GB will work with the incumbent provider and the Northern Territory Government to ensure a smooth transition of existing and new claims.
